The Distinctive Fabric Social Network

Your Number One Resource For Social Fabric Interaction!

After many requests, we've decided to run the Halloween costume contest again this year.

I recently made mention of it in Distinctivefabric.com's latest eNewsletter, so be sure to check your email for it, if you haven't seen it already.

This year we've tried to simplify the contest, judging and what not be limiting it to two distinct contests and only one winner in each category.

1. Your custom must include fabric from an order from us from this year; winner receives 25% off coupon.
2. The other may include fabric from any location; winner receives 15% off coupon.

Please submit your costume entries either to us by email at contests@distinctivefabric.com or here:

Happy Halloween ! ! ! This year it's a variable on Cindrella. The brocade was purchased with last years winnings and the blue just a purchase from you. As long as my granddaughter asks for me to make her a princess dress I'll keep trying to make them. I know I can get the great fabric's from you. This is so much fun. I enjoy seeing all the costumes and so much work goes into them.

Here are my entries-I make costumes BUT with a twist- they are tiny miniatures of "real life size" costumes BUT they are all in a scaled down to 12 inch version!- I am a OOAK costume designer & doll artist- here are 2 dolls that I created for Halloween this year- I used fabrics from distinctivefabric.com to make the velvet witches hats & velvet was also used under the lace overlay skirts.-I also used the wickkkkked coooooool vinyl from distinctivefabric to make the corsets. All the costumes are made with my own patterns that I design and draft- I also repainted the dolls faces to add to the entire picture and the dolls persona.- Hopefully the pics will take & I will not screw up- I'm such a Wilma Flintstones with the high tech Jetson stuff- I'll also post URLs just in case I pull a Wilma *wink*......Miles Of Dollie Smiles!Dolls By Passion

I had to change a picture. Since it doesn't do a costume justice just hanging on the hanger. Also, since nite was cold, my daughter put a turtleneck on child to keep her warm, been waiting for a picture without turtlenect but not here and am afraid you might be judgeing before it gets here. So.. if i does comes, will it be OK to change it out????

Snow White and her Prince this year. The velvet from distinctivefabrics.com (everything velvet except the Prince's tunic) was of exceptional quality at a great price. Mai Linh has now been EACH of the Disney Princesses. (Childhood passes SO quickly!) We played "Someday My Prince Will Come" as a duet on her piano recitals. The residents of the Assisted Living Center wher one the of the recitals was held were most appreciative of our efforts.
