The Beast's head was formed from muslin glued over a framework of foamcore and boning. It's all supported on a padded potty seat insert that my daughter outgrew! (The padding is comfortable and it fits my head perfectly!) The eyes are screen, molded over a bouncy ball and painted with acrylic. The painted screen functions a scrim -- allowing me see out, but looking solid from the outside. I glued the fur on, and I formed his teeth, upper lip, horns, and the tip of his nose from Sculpey clay.
