Hello, Lara . . . thanks for the compliment. I reinforced the sculpey clay with craft screen for both the necklace and the crown. (That's the same screen I molded into half spheres and painted as the Beast's eyes.) It was not a pefect solution as sadly, the crown is no longer with us. The necklace has held up well, and is displayed with the gown on a mannequin in my daughter's room. Pocahontas' necklace is still with us, too, but the one in the photo was the fourth in a series of mishaps!
I think it would be awesome to work at "the happiest place on earth," but I doubt that an outsider's perceptions are congruent with reality. Best of luck in all of your endeavors . . . I would love to see samples of your work, too.
